Ben Landers, president of Blue Corona, has hired four new staff members since late 2012 in order to keep up with the growing demand, increasing the team by around 20 percent with plans to quadruple that in 2013.

New hires include Emily Light, Sales Assistant and Marketing Coordinator; Monica Stern-Morales, Content Marketing Specialist; and Will McQain, Online Marketing Analyst. Light is a recent University of Maryland graduate (she graduated in just three years!) who provides sales and marketing support for Blue Corona. Stern-Morales joins the team from RainKing Solutions, where she served as a research analyst since she graduated from the University of Maryland’s Philip Merrill College of Journalism in 2010. McQuain manages PPC campaigns and marketing analytics, joining the team from Red Ventures as a graduate of Wake Forest University.
Blue Corona is still in the midst of hiring content marketers, SEO specialists and PPC analysts as the company continues to see strong interest from companies in the home service industries–contractors, HVAC, remodeling, plumbing, and more. The online marketing company plans to hire at least 10 more specialists to fill positions in account management, sales, content management, editing, PPC, web design, and videography for its Maryland and North Carolina offices. To manage the training and development of new hires, Blue Corona has created its own online marketing university dubbed Blue Corona U by employees.
