Internships

Account Manager

Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland and Charlotte, North Carolina

If you're great with people, analytical and have a passion for all things web, this is the opportunity for you! Blue Corona is one of the fastest growing online marketing and optimization companies on the East Coast and we're looking for an exceptional person to join our team as an entry-level Internet Marketing Specialist.

As an account manager, you'll be working directly with business owners to help them more accurately track their advertising strategies, drive more qualified visitors to their websites with tactics like pay per click (PPC) advertising and search engine optimization (SEO) and use advanced tracking tools to convert more website visitors into leads and sales.

You will be single-handedly helping businesses measurably increase revenue and profit – a skill that is in extremely high demand given the current economic climate.

Entry Level Web Designer / Developer

SEO Strategist & Project Manager

Copywriter/Content Marketing Specialist

Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland or Charlotte, North Carolina

As a copywriter and content marketing specialist, you will be creating web-based content which can range from website copy, blog posts, press-releases, and articles to content for infographics, email newsletters, and more. Our clients come in all shapes and sizes, but many are home service companies - builders, landscape design firms, plumbers, roofers, remodeling companies, etc. Having a background in home improvement, being handy around your home or apartment, or just being an all-around know it all would give you a huge advantage over other candidates!

What you'll be doing daily:

• Working with our client services team to become an expert on your 10-20 assign accounts
• Helping the copywriting team with editing and creating new content strategies
• Researching topics and creating compelling content for your accounts
• Writing somewhere in the ballpark of 20-30 articles, blogs, landing pages, web pages, etc. per week
• Watching webinars, attending seminars, and learning more about digital marketing and SEO
• Creating reports that show how your content is performing for your clients

What you'll need to succeed:

Entry Level Pay Per Click Specialist

Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland or Charlotte, North Carolina

As an entry-level Pay Per Click Specialist, you will be trained on the Blue Corona PPC method to create and manage PPC campaigns for various types of B2C and B2B businesses with guidance from a Senior Pay Per Click Account Manager. A lot of your focus will be on home services – think architects, plumbers, home remodelers, landscapers, etc. You must have a knack for marketing, be able to use data to make intelligent marketing decisions, and enjoy learning various types of home service industries and treating each client's business as if it were your own!

Responsibilities

• Create, manage and optimize PPC campaigns that drive qualified visitors to client websites
• Conduct keyword research and create and refine lists of targeted search terms
• Establish bidding strategies based on business goals and targets
• Continually optimize ad text as necessary
• Analyze the performance of your PPC campaigns on a cost per lead basis and adjust strategies accordingly
• Continually analyze competitors' strategies
• Monthly PPC performance reporting

Required Qualifications

• Ability to create complex Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
