Entry Level Web Designer / Developer
Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland

If you're handy with graphic design, website design and front-end web programming languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, etc. - let's talk!

Blue Corona is looking for someone who can quickly bounce between the following roles: graphic designer, website designer and web programmer. The ideal candidate should have a technical web background, but also be marketing oriented, hard-working, reliable and work well with others - clients and fellow team members (read: quirky, elitist, IT snobs need not apply)!

Strong candidates should possess:

• 1-3 years of experience developing standards-based, CSS structured websites
• Expert knowledge and fluency with current web development technologies including CSS and scripting languages
• Master of XHTML and CSS
• Basic understanding of SEO and SEO techniques
• Experience with and desire to master PHP, MySQL, JavaScript and AJAX
• An absolute passion for online marketing, the web, new media, social networking, etc.

Content Marketing Specialist
Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland

Are you an avid blogger? Do you frequently bounce between Facebook, Twitter, Squidoo and Ning? Are you entrepreneurial, innovative and easily bored? Do you like to stay on the bleeding edge of what's new on the web? If you answered "yes" and you're an excellent writer, we'd like to meet you!

Blue Corona is looking for several content marketing specialists to support our client services team as well as to manage internal content-driven marketing projects. At a minimum, you'll be creating enormous amounts of written content on subjects ranging from online marketing to plumbing and roofing. A curious, inquisitive nature and the ability to make any topic interesting is a must.

Depending on your skill set, projects may extend to tweeting, podcasts, video production and editing, webinars and more - the sky is the limit and it's completely up to your abilities and imagination!

Top candidates must have:

• Fantastic writing skills
• Active accounts on a variety of online platforms with followings of 500+ (ex. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
• An entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to translate ideas into actions which generate tangible business results
