Internships

Account Manager

Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland 

If you’re great with people, analytical and have a passion for all things web, this is the opportunity for you! Blue Corona is one of the fastest growing online marketing and optimization companies on the East Coast and we’re looking for an exceptional person to join our team as an entry-level Internet Marketing Specialist.

As an Account Manager, you’ll be working directly with business owners to help them more accurately track their advertising strategies, drive more qualified visitors to their websites with tactics like pay per click (PPC) advertising and search engine optimization (SEO) and use advanced tracking tools to convert more website visitors into leads and sales.

You will be single-handedly helping businesses measurably increase revenue and profit – a skill that is in extremely high demand given the current economic climate.

Here are some of the things you’ll be doing daily:

• Working directly with business owners to understand their business as if you owned it yourself
• Creating, developing and managing online marketing strategies to help them exceed their goals
• Measuring and tracking the campaigns you create and reporting their success to our clients
• Generating additional sales for Blue Corona by upselling current clients new services

This is, at a minimum, what you’ll need to be successful:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business from a top tier school)
• Minimum GPA of 3.5
• EXCELLENT communication skills – written and oral
• The ability to consistently produce error-free, grammatically correct content for a variety of mediums (blogs, email newsletters, websites, etc.) in a fast-paced environment
• Consistently high energy level with a markedly superior work ethic (you must want to win!!!)
• Meticulous attention to detail in all areas - writing, editing, researching and managing data
• Project management skills and the ability to stay organized under pressure
• Strong interpersonal skills and capability to work as part of a team
• Flexibility and willingness to work the hours needed to fulfill the responsibilities of the position
• Working knowledge of basic HTML or the ability to work nights and weekends to learn it – FAST

Entry Level Web Designer / Developer

Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland

Blue Corona is looking for someone who can quickly bounce between the following roles: graphic designer, website designer and web programmer. The ideal candidate should have a technical web background, but also be marketing oriented, hard-working, reliable and work well with others - clients and fellow team members (read: quirky, elitist, IT snobs need not apply)!

Strong candidates should possess:

• 1-3 years of experience developing standards-based, CSS structured websites
• Expert knowledge and fluency with current web development technologies including CSS and scripting languages

SEO Strategist & Project Manager

Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland

Your daily activities will included (but are not limited to):
