Located in Maplewood, NJ, Woolley Home Solutions (previously Woolley Fuel) started off as an ice and coal company before moving on to fuel. When the company added heating, cooling, and plumbing solutions to its repertoire, President Norm Woolley decided the company’s name undersold their capabilities.
To attract more heating, cooling, and plumbing jobs, Norm started shopping for an SEO company. While most of the companies in Woolley’s industry and market were using the same two providers, Norm needed to find a company that could work with his website and push his web presence forward.
After working successfully with Rank First Local (a Blue Corona extension designed for small businesses and micro-businesses with smaller marketing budgets) on Woolley’s SEO efforts for nearly a year, Norm decided it was time to rebrand the company from “Woolley Fuel” to “Woolley Home Solutions.” He enlisted the help of Blue Corona’s design team to redo his logo and his website.
The newly designed logo and website does a good job of showcasing all of Woolley’s service offerings without overwhelming visitors. The new, responsive website features a mega drop down for all of their services, as well as a fixed header that keeps Woolley’s contact information at the top of screen no matter how far down the user scrolls on the page.
Graphically segmented content areas contain SEO-friendly content that displays well on both mobile and desktop devices. In particular, we wanted the content to highlight Woolley’s 90 years in business with their company history, competitor differentiators (financing available, online payment feature, etc.), satisfied customers with a designated review section right on the home page, and community involvement with an awards and affiliations section.
