Peninsula has offered oil, heating, cooling, plumbing, and trash collection services throughout the Delmarva area for over 75 years, but their online presence was lacking. The company came to us in 2013 and with an okay-looking existing website that had very little online visibility.
For two years, we focused Peninsula’s online marketing budget on improving their website’s visibility in search engine results through both SEO and pay per click—while also working to promote repeat business through a monthly opt-in email newsletter. With organic traffic and leads up (up to 3x what they were before!) and cost per lead down, it was time to refresh that old site design with one that truly showed off Peninsula’s brand and authority.
Peninsula’s new responsive site features custom iconography to visually guide users through Peninsula’s extensive service offerings, along with dynamic content areas for SEO friendly copy. Coupons are prominently displayed on the new homepage, and the company’s contact information is kept on screen at all times with a fixed header.
Our design team worked to strongly integrate the company’s brand in the new design with water marks, color choice, and of course, incorporation of Peninsula’s mascot—Red.
